Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 egg yolks
- 90 g sugar
- 30 g invert sugar
- 250 ml milk
- 200 g cream
- 1 pinch of salt

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Basic recipe
In a saucepan, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar, salt, and invert sugar until the sugar is well dissolved. Heat the milk and cream, but do not boil. Gradually stir this mixture into the egg mixture. Boil, stirring frequently, until the liquid thickens and becomes creamy. Add ingredients to taste, if desired. Let the mixture cool to refrigerator temperature. Then pour the ice cream mixture into the ice cream maker.
