Creamy sausage goulash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 Vienna sausages
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 slice(s) cheese
  • some pepper
  • ½ cup crème fraîche
  • some chives
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • some ketchup
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp milk

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the Vienna sausages into small pieces, along with the onion and garlic. Brown everything thoroughly, then add the pepper. Mix everything well again and slowly add the ketchup and water until the sausage pieces are well coated. Now stir in the crème fraîche until creamy. Just before serving, crumble in the slice of cheese and let it melt. Garnish everything with some chives. Serve with rice or a bread roll.
