Crème fraîche potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche, approx. 150 – 200 g each
  • some milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Herb mixture to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the potatoes, slice them thinly, and boil them in salted water for about 10-15 minutes until almost tender. In a measuring jug or bowl, combine the crème fraîche with a little milk until it reaches the consistency of a sauce. Season to taste. Place the cooked potato slices in a baking dish, pour the sauce over them, and bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20-25 minutes.
