Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml whipped cream, liquid
  • 1 tbsp buttermilk or sour cream

Pour the cream into a twist-off jar, add the buttermilk or sour cream, seal, and shake well. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Then, refrigerate the crème fraîche to firm up. When the jar is almost empty, simply refill with cream and start the process again. The advantage of homemade products is that they contain no additives or thickeners.
