Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, raw, thinly sliced
- 200 ml cream
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp flour
- 200 g Gouda, grated
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Whisk together the cream, sour cream, mayonnaise, and flour to prevent the mixture from curdling during baking. Layer the potato slices in a shingle-like pattern in a baking dish, season with salt and pepper, and then drizzle with a little of the cream mixture. Continue this process until all the potatoes are used up. Then spread the remaining cream mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle with Gouda cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 1 hour.
