Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 135 g butter
- 160 g sugar, also mixed with brown sugar
- 1 tsp, heaped vanilla sugar
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- 175 g flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- ½ tsp baking powder or baking soda
- 40 g ground almonds
- 40 g almonds, sliced
- 10 g almond flakes, roasted, for garnishing
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Mix the flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder and slowly fold into the fluffy mixture. Finally, fold in the ground and sliced almonds. Take 2 tablespoons of dough and shape into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet, leaving 5 cm between each ball. Sprinkle toasted almond flakes on each ball. Bake the cookies for 14-19 minutes until golden brown. Let the cookies cool. I bet you can’t let these cookies cool without falling over them!
