Crispy muesli

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 50 g almond sticks
  • 40 g coconut chips
  • 25 g butter
  • 1 tbsp, heaped honey
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with coconut chips

Melt the butter in a large, non-stick pan and add a good tablespoon of honey. Now add the oats and slivered almonds, mix, and brown over low heat, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon. After a short while, add the coconut chips and vanilla sugar. Mix the mixture again and continue to brown slowly until the desired degree of browning is reached. This should take about 10 minutes. Line a sheet of baking paper on the work surface and brush with a very small amount of oil. Spread the crunchy muesli mixture on it. Break up the mixture a little with the wooden spoon. The oil on the baking paper makes it easy to remove the muesli once it has cooled. Once the muesli is cold, it can be stored in screw-top jars. It tastes delicious with yogurt, all kinds of desserts, in salads, or with ice cream.
