Crispy paprika rolls topped with feta cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 rolls (ciabatta rolls)
  • 2 bell peppers, red and yellow
  • 2 tbsp pesto
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 150 g sheep’s cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Snack, quick and smart

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the rolls in the oven for a while. Cut the peppers into strips and fry briefly in olive oil over high heat, then remove from the pan. Cut the pre-baked rolls open and spread each half with pesto. Top with the pepper strips and place the feta cheese on top. Bake in the oven until the cheese is slightly melted. The feta cheese will be a bit drier when baked, so if you like, drizzle with a little more olive oil before baking.
