Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 150 g peanut butter (crunchy)
- 175 g brown sugar (candied sugar)
- 1 egg(s)
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 175 g peanuts, roasted + salted, coarsely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Mix the butter and peanut butter well. One after the other, stir in the sugar, egg, salt, and flour mixed with the baking powder. Using cling film, shape the dough into a log, wrap it in cling film, and refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut the dough into thin slices, roll into balls, flatten slightly, and press one side into the peanuts. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, keeping space between each ball (they will spread slightly), and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 13 minutes. Makes about 40. Tip: Once cooled, store in a container with baking paper between each ball.
