Crispy pork chops with maple syrup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 175 ml syrup (maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds, ground
  • ½ tsp black pepper, ground
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roast the chops in a drip pan in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 30 minutes. Cook the remaining ingredients in a casserole dish for 5 minutes. Remove the chops from the drip pan and place them in an ovenproof container. Brush the chops with the sauce and cook uncovered at 180°C for 45 minutes. Brush several times with the sauce. Serve with a green salad.
