Crispy, sweet and spicy cashew nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g cashew nuts, preferably unsalted
  • 3 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil (sunflower or rapeseed oil)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp chili powder, more or less to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Delicious, easy party snack

Heat the oil in a pan and toast the cashews, stirring constantly. Sprinkle with sugar and salt and fry for about 5 minutes, stirring, until the sugar begins to melt and turn light brown. Remove from the heat and continue stirring until the cashews have cooled slightly. Season with chili powder, more or less vigorously to taste, and let cool completely before serving. A delicious, spicy snack for any party or DVD movie night.
