Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, mixed (or veggie mince)
- 2 bell peppers, red and green
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 m.-sized carrot(s)
- 3 m.-large tomato(s)
- 3 waxy potatoes
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- Paprika powder, hot
- oregano
- rosemary
- 1 dash of olive oil
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 pinch(s) of Vegeta
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
For vegetarians: Replace minced meat with veggie mince
Dice the onion and sauté in olive oil until translucent. Add the ground beef and brown. Add the spices and sauté everything for 5-10 minutes. Clean the vegetables, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and add them. Cover with water and simmer gently for about 30 minutes, until the vegetables are tender. If desired, thicken the farmer’s stew with a little water and flour or tomato paste, then bring to a boil briefly. Season to taste before serving.
