Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp flavoring (arrack)
  • 3 tbsp sour cream, thick
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 500 g fat, for frying
  • Cinnamon and sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Knead the listed ingredients thoroughly. Roll out the dough very thinly. Cut out approximately 10 x 10 cm squares and make 2-3 short slits in each. Insert a whisk handle through the slits and slide it into the hot oil (approx. 175 degrees Celsius). Bake until golden brown and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
