Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 250 g Kritharaki (rice-shaped noodles)
- salt water
- 100 g butter
- 125 g wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 25 g sugar
- e.g. powdered sugar
- e.g. jam or applesauce

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the kritharaki in lightly salted water for 12 minutes, then rinse with cold water and set aside. Melt the butter in a large pan, then add the sugar and breadcrumbs and mix until creamy. Add the kritharaki to the pan and mix briefly. Serve immediately on plates and dust with powdered sugar, if desired, and drizzle with jam or applesauce of your choice.
