- 1 tsp salt (slightly heaped)
- 100 g sunflower seeds
- Flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Combine all the flour and baking powder. Knead with the eggs, quark, and salt, first using the dough hook on a hand mixer, then with floured hands, until a smooth dough forms. Fold in the sunflower seeds thoroughly. Grease a 30 cm loaf pan and pour the dough into it. Score the surface lengthwise several times. Bake the bread in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200°C/fan oven: 175°C) for about 1.5 hours. Let the bread cool in the pan. Tip: The sunflower seeds can be replaced with hazelnuts, diced ham or onion, or other ingredients. However, they can also be omitted altogether.
