A simple fruit dessert

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 can of pineapple
  • 1 can peach(s), halves
  • 1 can/n apricot(s)
  • 1 can/n pear(s), halves
  • 120 ml apricot juice (from the can)
  • 55 g butter, melted
  • 100 g cane sugar
  • 40 g walnuts, roughly chopped
  • possibly cream, liquid, for serving

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Strain the canned fruit, reserving the apricot juice. Arrange the fruit nicely in an ovenproof serving dish. Mix the apricot juice with the butter and sugar and pour over the fruit. Sprinkle with the nuts and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot, drizzle with cream, if desired.
