Cucumber salad with sour cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 200 g sour cream with herbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Clean the spring onions, cut them lengthwise, and slice them thinly. Finely dice the garlic clove. Peel the cucumber, halve it lengthwise, and remove the seeds with a spoon. Halve it again lengthwise and slice it. Sprinkle the slices generously with salt. After about 15 minutes, drain off any excess water. Combine everything in a bowl, mix in the sour cream, and season with salt and pepper. Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
