Puff pastry nests with tuna à la Didi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of puff pastry, frozen
  • 80 g tuna in its own juice
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 8 olives stuffed with peppers
  • 2 mushrooms
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 8 slices of mozzarella
  • some tomato sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Thaw the dough discs and cut them in half. Crumble the tuna. Peel and slice the shallot. Slice the olives and mushrooms as well. Spread the bottom of the nests with tomato sauce. Arrange the tuna, shallots, olives, and mushrooms on top. Sprinkle everything with oregano and, if desired, salt and pepper. Top the nests with mozzarella and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan oven) for 15-20 minutes.
