  • 8 stalks of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Decoration for the buffet for a child’s birthday party, creative vegetables

Place the cucumbers on a board/plate for preparation, trimming off a bit of the bottom if necessary for better grip. Now cut the cheese, sausage, and lettuce into 1-2 cm thick strips each. Layer one strip each of cheese, sausage, and lettuce, roll up (like a snail shell), and secure it to the back of a cucumber with a toothpick. Finally, stick two 3-5 cm long chives into the front of the cucumber as feelers (if necessary, make a small hole with a knife and then insert the chives). Of course, all of the ingredients can be varied according to taste.
