Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat quark (low-fat curd cheese)
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp mustard (hot)
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 2 large gherkins
  • chives
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Egg spread with quark and crème fraîche

Peel and finely chop the eggs. Whisk the curd cheese, crème fraîche, and mustard until creamy, then stir in the eggs. Chop the cucumbers and add them. Season the spread with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chives. This spread is quick to make and also makes a great way to use up leftover Easter eggs. It tastes especially good on fresh bread or baguette.
