Curd dumplings with raspberry sauce

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 250 g QimiQ (equivalent to one package)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Raspberries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes

Lightly stir the low-fat quark with a mixer, then add the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice. Whisk the QimiQ until smooth and stir into the low-fat quark mixture. Pour the mixture into a dish and refrigerate for about 3-4 hours. Then, using two tablespoons, form dumplings and arrange them on a plate. For the sauce, thaw the frozen raspberries, puree them with a hand blender, and pour over the dumplings. Tip: You can also stir whipped cream into the quark mixture. If the mixture has been refrigerated for 24 hours, the dumplings are best formed using two spoons.
