Curd strudel with puff pastry

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, rectangular, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 egg(s), 1/2 for the filling, the rest for brushing)
  • 250 g low-fat quark (cottage cheese)
  • 40 g powdered sugar
  • 15 g pudding powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 20 g butter, liquid
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the dough and leave it on the baking paper. For the filling, mix all the ingredients together and stir in the melted butter at the end. Spread the filling in the center of the dough. Brush the edges with egg and seal the strudel. Brush the strudel with egg and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve lukewarm. Based on 6 servings, one serving has 454 kcal.
