Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 125 g brown sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 60 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • 200 ml natural yogurt
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 200 g currants (fresh or frozen, but not thawed)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk the sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg until frothy. Add the oil and yogurt. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Add the washed currants. Grease a muffin tin or use paper baking cups. Fill the cups two-thirds full. Bake at 160/180°C for 20/25 minutes.
