Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 250 ml ketchup
- 250 ml tomatoes, pureed
- ½ onion(s)
- some oil
- 3 tbsp curry powder, hot, possibly more
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 100 ml cola
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Finely dice the onions and fry in oil. Add the ketchup, followed shortly by the tomato puree and cola. Season with curry powder and pepper, reduce, puree, and season to taste. Add a little more curry powder to the sauce, if desired. The sauce can now be poured into a jar or jam jar, for example. It will keep well in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
