Currywurst skewers from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bratwurst (Thuringian)
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 onions
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 150 g curry sauce (curry – spice – ketchup)
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder
  • Sugar
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the sausage, cut the bell peppers and peeled onions into pieces, and thread them alternately onto skewers. Place in a baking dish and drizzle with a little oil. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Mix the tomatoes with the ketchup and season with spices. After 20 minutes, pour the mixture over the sausage and return to the oven for another 15 minutes. Sprinkle with curry powder to serve. Serve with a green salad and baguette.
