Currywurst with French fries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 bratwurst (grilled sausage) from pork
  • 1 pack of fries, fluted
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 jar tomato pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 chili pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp, crushed paprika powder, sweet
  • ½ tsp, leveled curry
  • 200 ml ketchup
  • 2 tbsp, leveled tomato paste
  • ½ tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the oil in a small saucepan and add the onion and chili. Add the ketchup and tomato paste and stir. Add the tomato and peppers, season with paprika and 1 teaspoon of curry powder, and season to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally. Brown the grilled sausages. Meanwhile, fry the French fries. Arrange the grilled sausages and fries on a plate and pour the sauce over the sausages. Sprinkle the sausages with the remaining curry powder.
