Czech curd cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 750 g quark
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups sour cream (alternatively the same amount of milk)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar or the pulp of a vanilla pod
  • lemon juice
  • some butter
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. Sprinkle half of the mixture onto a greased baking sheet. Mix the quark, sour cream, eggs, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice well. Pour the quark mixture over the flour mixture on the baking sheet and spread evenly. Sprinkle the second half of the flour mixture over the mixture. Sprinkle with butter flakes and bake at 180°C for about 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
