Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 30 g yeast
  • 9 dl wheat flour
  • ½ dl water or milk, lukewarm
  • 2 dl blueberries (blueberries)
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 40 minutes

Mix the butter, sugar, and egg well. Add the cream cheese and mix until smooth. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water/milk. Add the egg mixture, flour, and salt. Knead everything well. Place the yeast dough in a bowl, covered with a damp kitchen towel, and set aside in a warm place for one hour. Sprinkle a little flour on the countertop and roll out the dough slightly, about 1-2 cm thick. Sprinkle the blueberries over it and fold the dough over. Carefully roll over it with a rolling pin. Fold the dough again and let it rest for 20 minutes. Divide the dough into 4 pieces, then each into 3 pieces. Form each into round balls and roll them in flour. Let rest for another 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 225°C. Bake the balls on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes, then let them cool slightly. They’re great as an addition to packed lunches, etc.
