Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g pitted soft dates
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp harissa paste
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 pinch(s) pepper, alternatively cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Oriental exotic

Place the dates, spices (if you like it hot, use cayenne pepper instead of pepper), and garlic in a blender and chop everything very finely. If you don’t have a blender, you can also use an immersion blender. Add the sour cream, cream cheese, and harissa paste and continue blending. If the cream is too thin, you can simply add a little more cream cheese than the sour cream. This cream is best used as a dip with meat, bread, or vegetables. It’s a hit at any barbecue!
