Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 12 slice(s) smoked bacon
- 24 dates, dried, pitted
- 100 ml olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Dates with bacon
Halve the bacon slices, wrap each date individually in the bacon, and secure with toothpicks. Heat the olive oil until just before it smokes. Fry the coarsely sliced garlic cloves with the date rolls in batches until the bacon is crispy and browned. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
