Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g quark
  • 4 potatoes, grated
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 100 g bacon
  • 20 g butter
  • some milk
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the grated potatoes, flour, and eggs. Then add water so that the porridge falls slowly from the spoon. Using a teaspoon, drop a little of the porridge into boiling salted water and cook for about 20 minutes. Cook the diced potatoes, but do not overcook them. Lightly fry the bacon in butter, then add the cooked potatoes, dumplings, and quark, and season with salt to taste. You can adjust the consistency by adding milk.
