Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 12 slice(s) smoked bacon
- 24 dates, dried, pitted
- 200 ml olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Tapas: Dates with bacon
Halve the bacon slices. Wrap one date in each bacon slice and secure with a toothpick. Heat the olive oil with the crushed garlic cloves until just before smoking. Remove the garlic and fry the wrapped dates, checking them frequently, until the bacon is golden brown. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
