Delicious and low-fat French fries

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized potatoes
  • Seasoning salt (French fries seasoning salt), or paprika powder
  • 2 tsp oil, preferably rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel and wash the potatoes, and cut them into sticks (or a little thicker, if you prefer). Set the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Toss the potatoes with the oil (I prefer rapeseed oil) and the fries seasoning salt or paprika. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes. For the last five minutes, open the oven slightly and set the temperature to 160°C. You can add salt to the fries before putting them in the oven. Mine turned out nice and crispy. If you only season them with paprika, you should also add salt, either before or after baking, as you prefer.
