Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 50 g fresh ginger
  • 700 ml brandy
  • 200 g honey (linden blossom honey)
  • 4 tbsp apple juice (no added sugar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Pour the brandy over it and let it steep, covered, for a week. Shake occasionally. After a week, strain the ginger through a sieve, mix it with 4 tablespoons of apple juice and the honey, bring to a vigorous boil, and let it cool, covered. Then, mix again with the strained brandy, shake well, and store in a tightly sealed bottle.
