Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 tbsp margarine
- 1 small onion(s)
- 2 carrots, chopped; possibly coarsely grated
- 300 g minced beef or mixed
- 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
- Herbs of Provence
- 250 g pasta (girandole; penne; rigatoni or others)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
for children and families
Cook the pasta al dente. Heat the margarine. Add the onions first, then the carrots, and fry briefly. Add the ground beef and continue frying. Add the vegetable stock and passata, bring to a boil, and simmer on low heat for 7-10 minutes. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper, garlic powder, and Provençal herbs. Even the sniffiest (littlest) family members sometimes need a few sneaky vitamins!
