Desperation noodles for Sunday

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, e.g. fusilli
  • 150 g diced bacon
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 10 Pepper, mild, from the jar, pickled in vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quite simply, everything the fridge has to offer

Dice the onions, chop the garlic, and sauté both with the bacon for about 5 minutes over medium heat (but be careful, garlic blackens quickly and then tastes bitter. It’s better to add it later). When everything is golden brown and smells good, pour in the sweet cream and crème fraîche. Slice the mild peppers and add them. (The peppers give the sauce just the right kick.) Cook the pasta in the chicken broth until al dente, then drain and toss with the cream, bacon, and pepper mixture. You probably won’t need salt at the table, as the bacon is salty; pepper is more appropriate.
