Pasta with cheese, ham and egg

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pasta, short, also leftovers from the day before
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 200 g cheese, very finely grated
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 tbsp oil, butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

A delicious, simple, and inexpensive pan dish that will delight young and old alike…

Cook the pasta until al dente (or use leftover cooked pasta), dice the ham, and then crack open the eggs and break them up with a fork. Brown the pasta and ham in a large pan with a little oil for about 4 minutes to ensure they’re thoroughly heated through (this is important because of the egg!). Then quickly add the eggs and cheese, let them set, and melt the cheese, stirring well. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with a green salad. Alternative tip: If you like it a bit heartier, replace the ham with 75g of fatty bacon and 125g of cooked ham. You can also sauté a diced onion.
