Dessert: Balsamic Plums with Ice Cream

The perfect dessert: balsamic plums with ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Fresh plums
  • 2 tablespoon Raw cane sugar
  • 0,5 piece Grated tonka bean
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic cream
  • 2 Bullets Cinnamon ice cream e.g. http://www./rezept/429864/Dessert-Zimteis-a-la-Manfr
  • Cinnamon for sprinkling
  1. Core and quarter the plums. Steam together with sugar and tonka bean zest WITHOUT adding water until soft.
  2. Let it cool down and mix it with the balsamic cream.
  3. Put the compote in a dessert bowl, add a scoop of ice cream, e.g. from imhbach Dessert – place cinnamon ice cream a’la Manfred, vanilla ice cream or another ice cream on top and sprinkle with some cinnamon.
