Dessert: Delicious Waffles with Warm Raspberry Puree

The perfect dessert: delicious waffles with warm raspberry puree recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Frozen raspberries
  • 1 size Vanilla pods (pulp only)
  • 50 g + 2 tbsp Zucker
  • 125 g Butter
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 piece Eggs size M
  • 250 g Wheat flour
  • 300 g Sour cream
  • 4 tbsp Sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Food starch
  • 1 packet Baking powder

For the raspberry puree …

  1. 1 ….. put the frozen raspberries and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil while stirring. Then coarsely puree the raspberries with the hand blender. Mix the cornstarch with a little cold water, stir into the puree and bring to the boil again briefly. Then keep the raspberry puree warm.

For the dough…

  1. 2 …. Mix wheat flour with baking powder, stir in alternately with sour cream. Place approx. 1.5 tablespoons of waffle batter in the center of a greased, preheated waffle iron and bake until golden.
  2. Bake a total of approx. 8 waffles. Dust the warm waffles with powdered sugar and serve with the warm raspberry puree.

If you are bothered by the seeds of the raspberries …..

  1. 5 ….. then simply rub the puree through a sieve!
