Dessert: Mini Apples with Vanilla Sauce

- 12 Small apples
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 0,25 l Milk
- 1 Pä Custard without cooking
- First of all: I have a lot of very small apples this year. That’s when I remembered my childhood. My mom processed small apples like this.
- Peel the apples, leave the stem on. Carefully cut out the flower. Bring a generous half a liter of water with sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon stick to the boil, put the apples in and cook until they are firm to the bite. Approx. 12-15 minutes. Let cool down.
- Just before serving, prepare the vanilla sauce according to the instructions on the packet. Always place 3 small apples in a shallow bowl, pour some sauce over them.
- You can now hold the apples by the stalk and peel off the flesh. Yummy.
