Dessert: Orange Butter Milk

The perfect dessert: orange butter milk recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 ml Buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoon Yogurt 10% fat – the Greek
  • 100 ml Cream 30% fat
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 3 piece Oranges
  • 3 piece Lemon juice
  • 6 sheet Gelatin white
  • Almond cork
  1. Let the gelatine soak in a little cold water and then squeeze it out.
  2. Peel and fillet two oranges with the white skin. Collect the juice.
  3. Whip the cream. Mix the buttermilk with the yoghurt, sugar, the collected orange juice and the lemon juice. Add the orange fillets and puree with the magic wand. Fold in the whipped cream.
  4. Heat the swollen gelatine and let it melt. Mix with three tablespoons of the buttermilk mixture before stirring it into the cream.
  5. Pour the dessert into bowls or glasses and let set in the refrigerator.
  6. Before serving, peel the third orange and cut out the fillets.
  7. Garnish the dessert with the orange wedges and some almond brittle and a chocolate decor leaf.
