Dessert: Sweet Bulgur with Walnuts

The perfect dessert: sweet bulgur with walnuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Whole grain bulgur
  • 300 ml Water
  • 80 g Pekmez
  • = Traubensirup
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp Chopped walnuts
  1. Put the bulgur together with the water in a small saucepan, bring to the boil and then let it swell over low heat, stirring frequently, until the water is almost soaked up.
  2. Then add the syrup and stir in for a few minutes.
  3. Now add the spices and nuts and stir everything together.
  4. 3 Rinse small molds with water and distribute the mixture in it.
  5. Let cool and then place in the refrigerator until the mixture is firm.
  6. Evt. decorate and serve as desired.
