Dessert: Walnut Cream
The perfect dessert: walnut cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 ml Cream or milk
- 60 g Powdered sugar
- 3 sheet Gelatin
- 3 Eggs
- 50 g Ground walnuts
- 50 g Lime zest
- 1 Vanilla stick
- 4 Walnuts for the garnish
- Soak the gelatine, bring the cream with the vanilla to the boil, stir in the gelatine and let it cool down. Roast the nuts lightly dry.
- Beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar and the lime zest until frothy. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
- Fold the cold nuts into the egg yolk mixture, then fold into the egg whites, finally stir in the already slightly gelling cream.
- Fill into glasses and chill, then top with a walnut each.
