Dijon mustard sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 tsp, heaped Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp, heaped mustard, hot
  • 250 ml cream or milk
  • 150 ml white wine, or more if you like
  • 1 dash of olive oil
  • some parsley
  • cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dice the onion. Heat a saucepan and add a splash of olive oil. Sauté the onions until slightly translucent. Then set the thermostat to medium and add both mustards. After frying briefly, deglaze with white wine. Let the wine reduce briefly, then add the cream. Thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch, depending on the desired consistency. Sprinkle with a little parsley.
