Dirk’s Spaghetti

The perfect dirk’s spaghetti recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Mixed minced meat
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Pc Free range eggs
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 0,5 tsp Marjoram
  • 1 pole Leek
  • 1 Pc. Red pepper
  • 1 Pc. Yellow pepper
  • 4 Pc. Chopped tomato
  • 2 tbsp Garlic oil
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 50 g Processed cheese
  • 50 g Tomato paste concentrated three times
  • 30 ml Oil
  1. Prepare the spaghetti “al dente” according to the instructions on the packet. Clean the vegetables and chop them very finely. Mix the minced meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, spices, and onions (sounds like meatball, that’s where it comes from, LOL). Sauté the minced meat mixture with the oil and garlic oil in a saucepan while stirring until the mince is crumbly and the onions are translucent. Add the remaining vegetables, stir in, sauté for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with the broth, then stir in the tomato paste and cheese. Let it steep for 10 minutes, then season to taste as required.
