Doctors Have Named a Product That is Dangerous to Combine Coffee With

Why this combination is dangerous for the body, and how to drink coffee properly. Coffee is loved by many people, but not everyone knows that it should not be combined with sweets, although this combination is very popular.

Dr. Pavlo Isanbayev explained that this can lead to hypoglycemia, a dangerous health condition.

“Coffee contains antinutrients – substances that prevent the absorption of trace elements and vitamins from food. Thus, it is better to drink a tonic drink between meals,” says Pavel Isanbayev.

He noted that coffee is often drunk with sweets: sugar, and dessert. But sweets and coffee do not go together.

The drink temporarily increases blood glucose levels. Normally, this leads to the fact that the body has to use up glucose, and a person feels a surge of strength and vigor. Then the effect of caffeine ends, and the “normal” state returns.

If we are talking about coffee with sweets, the glucose level rises excessively and then drops sharply:

  • Hypoglycemia can occur;
  • weakness
  • dizziness,
  • cold clammy sweat,
  • drowsiness.

“Some people have this condition in a mild way, others in a more severe way – it all depends on the individual. The metabolism after the coffee is different, so it is crucial to monitor your well-being,” says the doctor.
