- 1 tbsp Butter
- 60 g Honey
- 60 g Sugar
- 150 g Flour
- 2 tbsp Applesauce
- 1 tbsp Apple juice with rum
- 0,25 tsp Ginger bread spice
- 1 tsp Deer horn salt
- 0,25 tsp Potash
- 100 g Cream cheese
- 1 tbsp Currant jelly
- 50 g Marzipan
- 200 g Dark chocolate couverture
- Cake pop sticks
- Sugar decor at will
- Melt the butter, honey and sugar in a saucepan and stir. Mix flour, almonds, cocoa, applesauce, apple juice (or rum for the variant with alcohol), gingerbread spices in a mixing bowl.
- Dissolve the potash and deer horn salt in water and stir into the dough mixture with the melted butter mixture. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and distribute it evenly, approx. 1 cm thick. Bake at 175 ° top / bottom heat for 20 minutes.
- Mix the cream cheese, currant jelly and grated marzipan. After it is cold, crumble the baked gingerbread as finely as possible, mix it with the cream cheese mixture and form 2 cm balls.
- Melt the dark couverture in a water bath, dip a cake pop stick into the liquid couverture and carefully insert it into a ball. Dip the domino on a stick into the couverture, remove it and turn it around and let the couverture cool down until it no longer drips.
- Decorate the domino pops as you wish and / or pack imaginatively as a gift. Bon appetit and have a nice Christmas time!
