Donuts made from quark – oil – dough for the baking pan

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g quark
  • 10 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 30 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Place the quark, milk, oil, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl and mix everything until smooth. Mix the flour with the baking powder, add it, and knead to form a dough. Grease a donut baking tray. Spoon the dough into a piping bag (use the large nozzle) and fill each hole in the donut tray halfway, as the dough will rise considerably. Place the tray on a baking rack. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 20 to 25 minutes. Immediately remove the donuts from the tray and place them on the baking rack to cool. Make a thick glaze from powdered sugar and lemon juice and brush it over the cooled donuts. If you want pink donuts, you can use any other red fruit juice, such as red grape juice, blackcurrant juice, or cherry juice, instead of lemon juice.
