Apple – pear – plum – puree

Peel, quarter, core, and slice the apples and pears. Wash, halve, and slice the plums. Combine the fruit with sugar and a pinch of salt in a saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil over low heat while stirring. Simmer until the pears are almost soft. Add the lemon juice and bring back to a boil. If you like, you can purée the fruit a little. Serve the purée warm or cold. It can be served warm, for example, with potato pancakes, semolina pudding, or cold. It tastes delicious mixed with yogurt or quark, or with cold pudding.
