Drinks: Buttermilk with Fresh Strawberries and Basil

Ingredients
 

  • 500 ml Buttermilk
  • 250 g Fresh strawberries - or more
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Golden syrup
  • 1 sprig Basil, fresh

Instructions
 

  • Briefly wash the strawberries with hot water, remove the stalks, roughly chop and place in a tall container.
  • Add lemon juice, syrup and basil and puree finely with a blender.
  • Pour in the buttermilk and mix up again.
  • Divide the drink between two glasses and garnish with a piece of strawberry and a basil leaf.
